Welcome to the new and, hopefully, improved Best Poem.  The first incarnation ceased publishing in 2009.  It seemed that the journal, which aspired to be a daily then, had gone about as far as it could go without some revision.  It took almost 3 years, but this is that revision.  Now, Best Poem hopes to publish one poet’s best, unpublished poem on the 1st and 15th of each month.  We are looking especially for two kinds of submissions: a) poems that have been rejected elsewhere, but which the poet believes to be his or her best work, or b) a poet’s newest darling, which he or she hasn’t submitted yet but is desperate to see published.  Please see the Mission page for more info on Best Poem’s current and future projects, and the Guidelines page for submission guidelines.
